For 28 years, Justin has been a practitioner in the treatment of severe and persistent mental health disorders, Substance Use Disorders and Crisis Intervention. He also has held a variety of clinical and operational management positions in his almost three decades of commitment to humanity.

Justin served in the United States military and after sustaining a serious head injury, left the service on a mission to help society one life at a time. He possesses a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology/Rehabilitation Counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology and holds numerous licenses and certifications.

Justin utilizes various therapeutic orientations including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Solutions Focused Therapy and many others, however, he is most passionate about Experiential Therapy which allows rapid self-discovery and personal exploration while facilitating The change you want to see in your life.

Amy Schloer (Diaz), LCPC

Amy has a master’s degree in forensic psychology and she has been practicing in the field for over 13 years. Her clinical expertise includes having worked in a variety of clinical settings such as residential, community mental health centers, hospitals, and correctional settings. Amy has experience working with adolescents, emerging adults and adults who present with life stressors/changes, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, binge eating disorder, bariatric patients, issues related to legal issues/incarceration, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sex and sexuality concerns.

As a therapist, Amy utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, which assists clients in understanding how thoughts and feelings influence behaviors. Clients can change the way they view internal and external stress which can assist them in achieving goals and increase life satisfaction. She also incorporates mindfulness and radical acceptance, among other approaches with her clients.

Amy believes that therapy is a working relationship. Once your goals have been identified, she will help you identify personal strengths and educate you on therapeutic tools/skills to use along with your strengths to help make those positive changes in life.

Amy identifies as Mexican-American and is comfortable in working with culturally diverse clients. She also identifies as sex-worker positive, kink/poly aware, LGBTQIA2S+ aware, and affirmative of consensual relationships. Amy has an ongoing commitment to the field and is currently training to become a Certified Sex Therapist.

Jenna McLaughlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a Masters Degree in School Counseling. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, teenagers, parents, and families supporting a wide range of neuropsychological needs. Jenna provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, focusing on the here and now, teaching Mindfulness, while using a person-centered approach.

Jenna seeks to help individuals with life transition adjustments, self-esteem issues, impulsivities, challenges, and much more. She fully understands that every person is unique. She meets each individual client where they are and works collaboratively on achieving goals for desired changes. She believes that bonds can be built with people through trust, encouragement and respect in a nonjudgmental safe space.
